Work cross-functionally with attorneys in related practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions. Engage directly with clients and regulators to provide sophisticated, business-focused counsel. Highly Competitive Salary : $275,000 - $350,000 , commensurate with experience. A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Transactional + Regulatory Practice Group in Chicago or New York . This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney with experience in fund formation, investment management, or broker-dealer regulation to join a team that advises top-tier clients in one of the most complex and rapidly evolving sectors of the financial services industry.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing , or eligibility to waive in.
- 4-7 years of substantive experience in fund formation , investment management , and / or broker-dealer regulatory matters .
- Familiarity with insurance regulations , compliance requirements , and corporate transactional work is highly preferred .
- Experience advising insurance companies , financial institutions , or other regulated entities is a strong plus .
- Soft Skills : Exceptional writing, analytical, negotiation, communication, and oral advocacy skills are a must.
