JOB TITLE : SAP Security Administrator

JOB SUMMARY

Under supervision, responsible for enterprise security including design, testing, and delivery of security roles for named users and processes across multiple SAP platforms, including ECC, PI, BW, Solution Manager, BusinessObjects, SuccessFactors EC2, and other SAP-based systems as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Design, build, and maintain role-based security for ECC, PI, BW, Solution Manager, BusinessObjects, SuccessFactors EC2, and other SAP-based systems as appropriate.
  • Manage and develop user roles and profiles in SAP. Analyze segregation of duties to ensure a secure SAP system while allowing end users the appropriate access to complete their tasks and responsibilities. Develop custom authorization to support appropriate segregation of duties.
  • Provide expert level production support of SAP security issues and perform root cause analysis as needed.
  • Provide role-based security education working with the business community and business leads ensuring proper access is granted to end users.
  • Ensure SAP security solutions adhere to company policy and internal and external controls.
  • Play a key role in the change management and security testing processes ensuring that all security changes are tested and valid.
  • Construct quality work plans and deliverables from minimal definitions and work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Outline valid deliverables and execute to meet the communicated dates.
  • Establish and maintain change and project management documentation to support transition processes.
  • This position requires advanced knowledge of SAP user management, role and profile development, custom authorization development and segregation of duties analysis to ensure a secure SAP system while allowing end users the appropriate access to complete their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Liaison with multiple teams in development and implementation of SAP security.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remain current on industry regulating bodies and standards such as FDA and SOX or JSOX (Japan Financial Instruments and Exchange Law).
  • Supports other departmental projects and priorities.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

    Experience

    Minimum 3 years’ experience

  • 3 years in SAP security administration preferred.
  • Experience in securing SAP ECC, PI, BW, Solution Manager, BusinessObjects, SuccessFactors EC2, and other SAP-based systems.
  • Experience working with technical teams to design SAP security including use of : tables, reports, programs, and interface solutions.
  • Experience with SAP-focused audits and risk assessment, governance and compliance.
  • Identity management experience a strong plus.
  • SAP GRC experience or equivalent a strong plus.
  • Experience in a SOX or JSOX (Japan Financial Instruments and Exchange Law) regulated environment a strong plus.
  • Skills

  • Knowledge of security technologies, best practices, regulations and policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of security administration for various business functions.
  • Knowledge of SAP security concepts, proficiency in user provisioning and maintenance, and auditing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment.
  • Must have strong technical foundation and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross functional environment.
  • Ability to decipher and categorize various levels of risk.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • SAP security certification is preferred.
  • An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.

    PHY SICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Typical Office Environment requirements include : reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bendi n g, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

    Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work non-standard hours and travel to Terumo BCT’s various locations.
  • May work independently or as part of a team in resolving more complex problems for clients.
  • Shares responsibility with team members for 24-hour on-call resolution.
  • Target Pay Range : $89,300.00 to $111,700.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

    Target Bonus on Base : 7.0%
