Software Engineer - API Developer V (Onsite)

Primary Location : Cincinnati, Ohio

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Software Engineer - API Developer V for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio .

Education and Experience »

Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.

Must Have :

Java (concurrency, memory management, performance tuning), Distributed System Design, Real Time processing, API Design, Messaging / Eventing (MQ, Kafka, etc.), Availability Engineering (SLAs, failover, degradation, etc.), Observability (Opentelemetry, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Job Responsibilities :

Full lifecycle application development.

Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.

Software modeling and simulation.

Front end graphical user interface design.

Software testing and quality assurance.

Support, maintain and document software functionality.

Maintain standards compliance.

Implement localization or globalization of software.

Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).

Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.

Integrate software with existing systems.

Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
