Job Summary :
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR II) serves as the face of our client’s diagnostic services, delivering exceptional patient care and phlebotomy services. This role involves direct interaction with patients, accurate blood collection, specimen preparation, and maintaining a professional and safe environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong phlebotomy skills across diverse patient populations and be able to work independently in a high-volume setting. Key Responsibilities :
- Draw high-quality blood specimens from patients and prepare for lab testing.
- Create a professional, compassionate, and trusting environment for patients.
- Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection procedures accurately.
- Verify and label patient samples with proper documentation and signatures.
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.
- Provide customer-focused service and represent the organization positively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational policies.
- Respond to staffing needs at multiple locations, including on-call coverage.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and professionalism in patient service environments.
Required Experience :
Minimum years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.Keyboard and data entry experience.Nice-to-Have Experience :
Experience in a Patient Service Center environment (+ years preferred).Customer service experience in retail or service settings.Familiarity with clinical data systems and phlebotomy tracking tools.Required Skills :
