About the Job

Licensed Insurance Agents at NerdWallet support customers by quoting, comparing, and binding insurance products from our carrier partners. They also assist with servicing newly bound policies and cross-selling additional insurance solutions based on customer needs.

In this role, you’ll help individuals and businesses find the right insurance coverage. Core responsibilities include assessing client needs, explaining policy options, assisting with applications, and managing renewals. You’ll also provide claims support and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, while contributing to sales efforts and business growth.

• Clearly explain policy terms, coverage, and pricing
• Prepare and submit insurance applications and related documentation

• Build strong client relationships and contribute to revenue growth
• Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain high client retention
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of applications

Work Location

This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work may be performed :

You’ll use NerdWallet\'s communication and productivity tools such as Google Docs, Zoom, and Slack, and a company-provided laptop.

What We Offer

Pay Transparency

This is a non-exempt, hourly role with additional uncapped commission-based earnings . On-target earnings (OTE) reflect the expected total compensation, combining base pay and commissions.

Base Pay : $50,000 annually ($24.04 paid hourly)

Final leveling will be determined by the hiring manager based on experience.
