SUMMARY
This contract Business Systems Analyst position will assist the Energy Management Systems (JDE) organization by performing cyber security compliance process, documentation, and reporting support
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work associated with this position will be directly related to business process support for systems change management, process and compliance requirements for the organization. With CLIENT manager oversight and approval :
- Review and validate that configuration management policies and procedures provide thorough requirements, traceability through version release and adequate documentation to support system operation and maintenance.
- Support organization change process and configuration management efforts.
Serve as a process point of contact for the organization
Define, develop, and document new processes and procedures as requiredSupport process and procedure roll-outSupport ongoing compliance with those processes and proceduresAssist with developing and documenting processes and procedures to support NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) Mandatory Reliability standards CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) and Department of Energy NIST / FISMA (National Institute of Standards and Technology / Federal Information Security Management Act) security requirements.Assist with developing training materials and job aids to support above.
Support the development of necessary documentation to support reporting and audit requirements.Provide quality assurance for organization to verify compliance to above standards and guidelines.Provide support to NERC annual certification process and any other spot audit or compliance requestFacilitate Jira administration and ticket management for JDE teamFacilitate Issue / Task tracking in a DevOps environment using Atlassian and other toolsAs requested by the team leader, provide support for meetings, including scheduling and facilitation.Prepare and conduct program presentations, in-house and client training, and functional education.Develop and present recommendations and supporting analysis for management decisions.Communicate to management and co-workers by telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails, and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know). Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures. Validate official records are accurately maintained for auditing purposesREQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in computer / information technology, business systems, engineering or a related technical field is preferred.5 years of directly related experience is required with a bachelor's degree in applicable fields.
7 years of directly related experience is required with an associate degree in applicable fields.9 years of directly related experience is required without a degree or degree in applicable fieldsRequired Technical Skills & Experience
1 year experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for a high availability environment1 year of experience in a DevOps environment using Atlassian or similar tool.1 year experience in the use of change and configuration management tools / systems
Preferred Skills & Experience
1 year experience in any aspect of the software development lifecycle for a utility control center environment1 year of previous compliance and / or audit support experience, particularly for NIST / FISMA and NERC-CIP1 year previous compliance and / or audit support experience1 year experience with process development and roll-outExperience developing process / procedures to support compliance effortsExperience with the design and implementation of security standards, policies or procedures in a high availability environmentAdditional Requirements :
