Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

The incumbent acts as both a functional and technical analyst in the development, upgrade, enhancement, training and support of business information systems in Epic, 3M Solarity, M-Modal, Plato, Onbase and related HIM systems. Responsible for the development and maintenance of system applications Policies and Procedure in relation to Hospital Coding modules. Facilitates discussions around billing system software changes and upgrades as needed and / or requested by all applicable users. Participates in the analysis and design of data communication links between systems.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must possess a working knowledge of HL7 and other interface / integration strategies
• Must have working knowledge of client / server systems, relational database structures and reporting tools
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Must be willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officer
• Experience using / implementing / supporting an EMR system's legal medical record with understanding of ROI, deficiency tracking and identity mapping
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Current certification in Epic; HIM
• Ability to self-initiate and effectively problem solve issues
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution
