Responsibilities and Duties
Provide nocturnist med surg coverage at multiple hospital locationsRotate primarily to critical access sites, covering higher and lower acuity casesManage 1-4 admissions per night at critical access locations independently, without staff supportHandle 10-12 admissions per night at larger facilities with MD and APP supportUtilize Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR systems as required by each siteDeliver high-quality care while operating solo or as part of a team depending on the locationAdditional Information
Hospitalist experience requiredActive Illinois Nurse Practitioner license requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredMust be comfortable working independently in solo coverage settingsFamiliarity with Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR platforms is essentialBenefits
