The Impact You’ll Make

Lam Research is seeking an experienced, Business Operations Analyst to join the Global Operations Quality and Safety team.

This position will partner with various functional groups across Lam to identify and project manage data analytics and system solutions to enable operational excellence across our logistics, supply chain, order fulfillment and manufacturing operations. This role will require the use of appropriate analytical models, statistical methods, and accumulation of subject matter expertise.

This role provides a unique opportunity to connect and partner with people across various facets of our business operations and is a key contributor to Global Operations continuous improvement in safety and quality.

What You’ll Do

• Performs detailed business analysis, develops and presents insights and solutions for the business function that drive operational excellence (global operations safety / quality)
• Develops Functional Analytics Roadmaps that supports the strategic objectives of business function
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to improve business operations and competitive advantage.
• Participates in the governance and prioritization of projects across the business function
• Develops resource plan for the function(s) based on the roadmap
• Acts as a functional single point of contact (SPOC) to deliver roadmap / business needs
• Project management of new business system solutions and future change requests to existing systems or data analytics dashboards
• Design and implement standard industry practices for development and deployment of data analytics and software applications
• Performs Ad-hoc Analysis for functional stakeholders as needed

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
