Located in the heart of Montgomery, Texas, Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodforest delivers exceptional outpatient surgical care across multiple specialties. We’re currently searching for a committed PACU Registered Nurse to join our growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping patients safely recover from anesthesia and surgery, we’d love to connect with you.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients post-surgery during the recovery phase from anesthesia
- Assess vital signs, manage pain, and watch for signs of complications
- Provide attentive, calming support to patients and families
- Collaborate closely with OR teams, anesthesia providers, and physicians
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Educate patients on post-operative care instructions and follow-up needs
- Maintain patient safety and infection control protocols at all times

Current TX RN license (or compact license) requiredMust graduate from a Texas Board of Nursing–approved accredited nursing programBLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred or willing to obtain)1+ year of PACU, ICU, or critical care experience preferredExperience in an ambulatory surgery or outpatient setting is a plusQualifications :
