We are currently seeking a MongoDB Database Administrator to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Day to Day Job Duties :
- Administering, monitoring, and maintaining MongoDB clusters (replica sets and sharded clusters).
- Deep understanding of MongoDB's aggregation framework, indexing strategies, and document model.
- Optimizing schema design for NoSQL document stores.
- Proficiency in MongoDB security features and authentication mechanisms.
- Managing, configuring, and tuning PostgreSQL instances and clusters.
- PostgreSQL replication (streaming replication, logical replication), partitioning, and indexing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, functions, and database triggers.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions and their management.
- Administering, monitoring, and optimizing Neo4j graph databases.
- Proficiency in Cypher query language and graph data modeling.
- Experience with Neo4j clustering (Causal Clustering) and high availability.
- Understanding graph algorithms and their performance implications.
- Knowledge of Neo4j Bloom, Browser, and related tooling.
Skills Required :
Overall 7+ years of experience.3+ Proven experience in designing, developing, and managing databases with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Neo4j.2+ years of experience as a Database Developer or Administrator with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and Neo4j.2+ Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing queries for each database (SQL for PostgreSQL, Cypher for Neo4j, MongoDB Query Language).2+ Years of Experience with MongoDB Atlas, Ops Manager, or Cloud Manager for management and monitoring.2+ Years of Experience with tools like pg_dump, pg_restore, pg_basebackup, and pg_repack.2+ Years of Experience with database design, data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.Nice to Have :
Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Cassandra) is a plus.
