Pharmacy Technician Compensation

Pay Rate : 19 per hour

Benefits available

to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Pharmacy Technician Schedule

Monday–Friday :

8 : 00am – 6 : 00pm CST (8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch)

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

Enter and process new prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy regulations and company policy

Handle refill requests and process third-party claims adjudication

Verify patient and prescriber information for accuracy and authorization

Perform eligibility verification, refill documentation, and order completion checks

Accurately calculate dosage, quantity, and day supply (metric / apothecary conversions)

Support prescriber and shipment-related calls and assist with escalations

Maintain system accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and company standards

Meet productivity, quality, and attendance goals consistently

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License

(must not expire within 90 days of start date) —

Required

Minimum 6 months of pharmacy experience

Required

Must be available to work during standard business hours (8am–6pm CST)

Reliable transportation to work onsite 5 days per week until training completion

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Must be proactive, dependable, and maintain professionalism at all times
