CNC Programmer 1st Shift | Columbia, SC

Perceptive Recruiting is hiring a CNC Programmer for a leading manufacturing organization based out of Columbia, SC. In this role, you ll be responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs for complex machining operations. Must have 5+ years of CNC machining and / or programming experience to be considered.

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM

Key Responsibilities :

Program and optimize CNC machines for milling, turning, and multi-axis work
Review blueprints and models to plan machining strategies
Select tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient production
Run test programs and first article inspections
Edit and adjust G-code and CAM programs as needed
Collaborate with machinists and engineers on production improvements

What We re Looking For :

5+ years of CNC machining / programming experience

Strong G-code and CAM software skills

Solid understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and GD&T

Ability to troubleshoot and support machinists on the floor
