Role Overview

As a Director, you will lead a team and act as the main conduit between clients and our team for complex assignments. You will manage projects by overseeing interview activities, gathering relevant data, developing goals and deadlines, reviewing work products of junior staff, and communicating directly with clients.

Duties

Engage in c‑suite and board‑level conversations regarding client challenges and strategic initiatives.

Utilize experience and expertise to function in interim roles (e.g., CEO, CFO, CCO).

Help clients understand their competitive advantages and product / service line profitability.

Leverage research and data to synthesize insights, separate myth from fact, and customize strategic frameworks.

Retain excellent working relationships with clients and liaise with leadership and the case team to ensure strategic, actionable recommendations.

Understand engagement economics, product delivery, budgeting, and billing & collections, including implementation risk and profitability.

Build relationships with clients and seek opportunities to expand scope of business while generating leads.

Mentor, guide, coach, and share subject‑matter knowledge with colleagues and the wider business.

Manage and mentor junior staff, including training and development.

Qualifications

Minimum eight years of prior work experience in the life sciences industry, at least four of which in consulting.

Adept at solving difficult problems and turning projects around.

Values a supportive team environment that welcomes input from all levels.

Demonstrated expertise, creativity, and professionalism.

Proven track record in risk assessment and trend identification.

Anticipatory, engaged, respectful, and earns respect of others.

Experience in leading and managing a team.

Compensation

Annual base salary range : $170k – $190k. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on performance. Salary commensurate with experience.

Full‑time employees working 30+ hours per week are eligible for healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
