PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES :
The following lists the principle activities associated with the position of Knife Ring / Mold Plate Technician.
- Grind wood chip using plane machinery to produce wood flakes
- Adjust and sharpen plane blades as required
- Load the mixing platform with wood flakes to be used for production line
- Prepare and perform maintenance of molding plate
- Ensure molding plate to be free of particles of dust after placing raw material to make patterns
- Move plates with forklift
- Grind defective plates by using hand tools to reuse as raw material
- Prepare and maintain records of raw material received, weights of raw material used, plane blades usage information, defected plates count, and other pertinent information required
- Report machinery equipment damage or malfunction to Supervisor
- Preforms other related duties as assigned

Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbsMust be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisyMust be able to safely walk and work around Must be able to work required shift and work overtime with short notice machineryMust be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperaturesBEHAVIORS : Safety
