Position : SubstituteFood Service Worker

Location : Newton Community School District

Substitute Hourly Wage : $15 / hour

Job Description : See attached

• Hired applicants must be able to pass both the DCI criminal history background check and the prework physical requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrates aptitude for successful performance of tasks.
• Able to physically work in a standing position for prolonged periods and walk much of the time during the day; work in warm surroundings.
• Have manual dexterity to handle knives and other kitchen equipment.
• Able to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board Designee may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Ability to follow policies and practices.
