job_description.job_card.job_descriptionA minimum of 3 years of family law experience in North Carolina Strong litigation and negotiation skills A friendly, mature, and approachable demeanor Excellent communication and client-management abilities Someone who thrives in a collaborative, positive, and fast-growing environment A passion for helping clients move forward with confidence and dignity A flexible and supportive work environment that respects work–life balance A positive, team-centered culture focused on growth and mutual support Opportunities for professional development as our practice continues to expand A chance to truly make a difference in the lives of the clients we serve Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process Represent clients in court proceedings as needed Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action Keep client files properly organized and up to date Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case Energetic vibe, unlike your traditional law firm culture Paid time off 401(k) matching Group health care benefits A growth-oriented firm culture that values results, empathy, and continuous learning Competitive base pay and commission plan Opportunities for career advancement Flexible work environment

We are a well-established North Carolina family law firm seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of family law experience to join our team.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution
- Advise and advocate for clients facing divorce, custody, support, and related matters
- Draft pleadings, handle discovery, and appear in court
- Work closely with a supportive team that values open communication and professional excellence
- Help clients navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives with clarity and compassion
