About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Fundraising and Community Engagement. In this vital role, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships with existing supporters and motivating new community members to join our mission as significant financial contributors. You will play a crucial part in advancing our grassroots movement aimed at advocacy and voter engagement.

Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing effective plans to boost community engagement and revenue generation, establishing and maintaining strong donor relationships, and achieving fundraising targets. Additionally, you will identify, recruit, and develop volunteer leadership for various initiatives, providing regular updates to encourage involvement in our advocacy work.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of success. A deep commitment to Jewish education and advocacy, along with strong ties to the Jewish community and schools, is essential. We seek a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to dynamic situations, and an analytical mindset to solve problems effectively. You should be a collaborative team player who can manage multiple tasks with attention to detail while working independently.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable. This position is remote, but the candidate must reside in the Los Angeles area.
