We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Snowflake and Matillion to design and manage data pipelines that enable efficient and secure data processing for business insights. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Matillion to process and transfer data into Snowflake from various sources.
  • Design and maintain Snowflake architectures, including database structures and warehouse configurations, to support complex queries and analytics.
  • Build and implement data transformation processes to cleanse and enrich raw data for business consumption.
  • Integrate diverse data sources, such as APIs, flat files, and databases, into Snowflake while ensuring data security and accuracy.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of data pipelines and Snowflake queries, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, and data scientists, to deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure data quality and compliance with governance and security standards.
  • Document workflows, data models, and processes to maintain transparency and support ongoing development efforts.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Extensive experience with the Snowflake data warehouse platform, including architecture design, performance optimization, and security.
  • Hands-on expertise in Matillion for creating and managing scalable data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional and relational database modeling principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud, including services like Azure Data Factory and BigQuery.
  • Experience integrating APIs and other external data sources into Snowflake ecosystems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
