The Senior Video Editor will support the I Am Athlete Platform and report to the Director of Production. You are responsible for delivering final episodes on schedule and managing the post-production process. The ideal candidate has an exceptional work ethic and the ability to work independently, with experience in Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects, and Photoshop. You should have excellent communication and organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manage all aspects of content post-production, including project management, coordinating additional editors, colorists, and audio engineers
  • Deliver final episodes on schedule
  • Sync footage and create multi-cam projects / sequences
  • Manage project timelines from inception to delivery
  • Apply graphic elements, color correction, and audio mixing
  • Maintain an organized workflow to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate teasers and promotional clips
  • Assist the production team as needed in creative and project management tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience editing documentaries or video podcasts
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder, After Effects
  • Ability to navigate projects efficiently and manage assets across applications
  • Strong understanding of video and graphic production workflows, asset management, storage, and archiving
  • Expertise in color correction and grading
  • Knowledge of third-party plugins
  • Familiarity with the latest technology trends, techniques, and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle stress, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
