Job Title : Data Scientist

Location : Thousand Oaks, CA (Hybrid)

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join their innovative team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to apply your expertise in data science and engineering to develop cutting-edge solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage digital modeling assets to enhance data analysis and decision-making.
  • Utilize in-silico and data-driven modeling to evaluate business and operational performance opportunities.
  • Apply engineering principles to create models for combination products.
  • Automate and manage analytics and data-driven models.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support special projects, providing insights for process improvements.
  • Transform complex questions into measurable projects using critical and analytical thinking.

Skills Required :

  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, JMP, and / or Minitab for engineering applications.
  • Experience with model simulation and analysis using software like ANSYS, LS-Dyna, ABAQUS, or COMSOL.
  • Knowledge of mathematical modeling, numerical techniques, and uncertainty quantification.
  • Familiarity with GitLab for version control and project management.
  • Expertise in data analysis and statistical or mechanistic modeling.
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
