Description :

  • Machining Operations : Set up, program and operate CNC lathes to machine parts according to specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Quality Control : Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make adjustments as necessary to maintain precision and accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail : Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the machining process to ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Tool Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on lathes and other machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of machining operations, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and production logs.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in the machine shop.

Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience operating manual or programming CNC lathes in a machine shop environment.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
  • Quality Oriented : Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality work with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Self-Starter : Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues effectively.
  • Safety Awareness : Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a machine shop environment.
  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machining is preferred.
