Physician - Family Medicine with Obstetrics

Position Summary

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Family Medicine, is seeking a full-time Family Physician with Obstetrics to join our dynamic team. This faculty position supports the department’s mission of delivering the highest quality patient care while fulfilling teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region’s leading quaternary referral center.

The ideal candidate will provide full-spectrum family medicine with obstetrics and actively participate in the education and supervision of residents. Our department fosters a culture of work-life integration, collegiality, and collaboration. The position offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population with access to comprehensive ancillary and sub-specialty services, including maternal-fetal medicine.

Required Qualifications :

MD, DO or equivalent

Board certified / board eligible in family medicine

Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri

Preferred Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an academic environment

Strong teaching and leadership skills
