Medical Biller & Coder

Location : Wolinsky Primary Care 1315 Avon St #101 Fayetteville NC 28304

• Schedule : MondayThursday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
• Position Type : Full-Time (4-day workweek)

Wolinsky Primary Care is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Biller & Coder to join our dedicated team. We are a patient-centered primary care clinic that values compassion, efficiency, and excellence in care both clinically and administratively.

Key Responsibilities :

Accurately code patient services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines

Submit and track insurance claims, appeals, and rejections

Verify patient eligibility and benefits

Perform regular audits to ensure coding compliance

Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and staff regarding billing issues

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of medical billing & coding experience, preferably in a primary care or outpatient setting

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent preferred

Knowledge of EHR systems and medical billing software

Strong understanding of insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
