About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP Consumer Portfolio Manager to lead the growth of its consumer portfolio, with a focus on serving the financial needs of active and former military personnel and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the bank's consumer strategy, including consumer loans, residential mortgages, card services, and deposit sales. This role requires a leader who can inspire and deliver the organization's winning proposition, ensuring the portfolio is optimized for performance and in line with the target market's needs. The EVP will work closely with executive leadership, and various departments, and third-party vendors to enhance the client experience and drive the sustained growth of the consumer portfolio.

Candidates for this position should have a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree and / or certification from a Graduate School of Banking highly preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in banking or financial services, with a strong background in portfolio lending, credit authority, and preferably in debit and credit card product management and mortgages, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and coaching client-focused teams, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to align business processes with goals. Experience in Safe Agile and military service is also preferred. The role demands a professional with the maturity to handle problems with professionalism, the ability to set priorities, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
