Annual Giving Marketing and Program Professional (Advancement Professional II), University Advancement Philanthropic Giving

Job Summary :

The Annual Giving Marketing and Program Professional is a vital team member engaged in strategic planning implementation and continuation of multi-channel communications and marketing strategies that increase contributions and participation from alumni parents students and friends of the University.

Responsibilities :

Marketing and Campaign Strategy

• Develop and implement strategic outreach plans that motivate philanthropic participation and strengthen engagement among alumni parents students faculty staff and friends of the University.
• Coordinate the design development and production of print and digital collateral for Annual Giving campaignsincluding direct mail call center email text social media and other solicitation channelsto achieve established fundraising and participation goals.
• Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel giving campaigns integrating social media email direct mail and peer-to-peer strategies to connect with donors and increase annual support.
• Create compelling collateral and messaging that communicate the impact of giving and encourage participation through various outreach channels.
• Maintain high-quality standards in all communications to ensure alignment with the Universitys visual identity and messaging standards while emphasizing philanthropic priorities and donor impact.
• Identify emerging digital trends and engagement opportunities to strengthen participation and donor retention across key audiences.
• Partner with the Office of Strategic Communication and other campus units to ensure that all Annual Giving materials and outreach align with institutional branding and support the Universitys philanthropic goals.
• Collaborate with campus partners to build a culture of giving expand outreach opportunities and elevate the presence of Annual Giving across the University community.
• Support the planning and implementation of campus-wide giving initiatives including Giving Days faculty-staff campaigns crowdfunding student philanthropy programs and other special appeals that increase participation and giving outcomes.

The salary offered will take into account internal equity and experience among other factors.

Initial step placement will be CSUEU Salary Step 1 : $5274 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range : $5274 - $7684 per month (Step 1 Step 20)

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical dental and vision plans membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) sick and vacation time and 15 paid holidays a year. Position Information :

Full-time Exempt Probationary

Academic year schedule : Monday through Friday (8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm) some evenings / weekends.

Summer schedule : Monday through Thursday (7 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm) some evenings / weekends.
