Remote - Database Administrator

Job Description : Requirements :

• 8+ years of experience as an AS / 400 DB2 DBA.
• Proficiency in database normalization and design.
• Strong expertise in SQL query tuning and process optimization.
• In-depth understanding of RPG / 400 performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities :
• Manage and administer DB2 databases on AS / 400 systems.
• Normalize databases to improve efficiency and design.
• Optimize SQL queries and database processes for better performance.
• Analyze and implement performance improvements in RPG / 400 applications.
• Monitor and resolve database performance and availability issues.
