LPN Physician Practice

Coordinated team-based care to provide health services to individuals, through effective partnerships with patients, their caregivers / families, community resources and their physician. Facilitates a "shared goal model" within and across setting to achieve coordinated high quality preventive care that is patient and family-centered. The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner and / or Professional Registered Nurse.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience :

Clinical and administrative experience in a physician office setting preferred.

• Education and Training :

Must be a graduate of an LPN course given by an accredited school.

• License, Certification & Registration :

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

• BLS
• Other Requirements :

Proficiency in Windows-based computer skills required.

• Excellent customer service skills a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting required.
• High level of attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking a must.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with patients and co-workers orally or in written format required.
• Meets continuing education requirements in accordance with state licensing regulations.
