Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and Develop Treatment Plans : Assess patients' physical conditions and develop personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to their needs.

Implement Therapeutic Interventions : Utilize a range of physical therapy techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-based interventions, to improve strength, flexibility, and overall function.

Monitor Patient Progress : Track patient outcomes, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure consistent progress toward rehabilitation goals.

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams : Work closely with other rehabilitation specialists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver holistic patient care.

Educate Patients and Caregivers : Provide guidance on exercises, home programs, and lifestyle modifications to maintain progress and prevent future injuries.

Education Requirements

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent

New grads encouraged to apply

Certifications & Licensure

Certification in specialized areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics) is a plus

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Louisiana

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
