POSITION TITLE : Human Resources Coordinator
REPORTS TO : Director of Human Resources
Pay : $27.00 - $32.50 (Hourly, Non-exempt)
Schedule : Monday- Friday Onsite

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Leave Program Management
- Administer and manage all leave of absence programs (FMLA, CFRA, bereavement, etc.), including eligibility determination, documentation, and return-to-work coordination
- Administer and manage ADA accommodation program, including eligibility determination, documentation, and lead interactive process meetings with appropriate leadership
- Administer and manage all workers compensation processes, including communicating directly with the insurance company representatives and investigators
- Complete disability-related and payroll forms and ensure timely communication with employees throughout the leave and workers' compensation process
- Coordinate modified duty assignments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal policies
- Maintain leave records and monitor timelines to ensure continuity and compliance
HRIS, UKG & Systems Administration
Assist employees and leadership with administering with timekeeping, pay records, and benefit payments while on leavesMaintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and personnel files, ensuring compliance with document retention policies and audit readinessPull reports and conduct data analysis in HRIS / Payroll system and other systems as neededAssist employees and leadership with escalated payroll inquiries and concernsHR Projects & Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to the development of a Just Culture framework, employee engagement initiatives, and other organizational culture initiativesMaintain updated HR resources including forms, guides, and leaves materialsSupport process documentation, case tracking, and policy implementationCompliance & Recordkeeping
Ensure accurate and compliant employee records in accordance with local, state, and federal requirementsMonitor completion of mandatory trainings and certifications in collaboration with department managersAssist with internal audits and reviews as neededGeneral Administrative Support
Contribute to New Employee Orientation training day 1 as neededProvide administrative support to the HR Department including scheduling, document management, and correspondenceCollaborate with HR Generalist and Director on operational initiatives and cross-functional coordinationServe as a resource for general HR inquiries and escalate issues appropriatelyEnsure all HR processes and materials meet federal, state, and organizational standardsHelp foster a culture of responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvementAny additional related duties as requested by the HR Department or other administratorRequirements
Minimum Requirements :
Knowledge and Experience :
At least two (2) years of experience in HR administration or operationsFamiliarity with HRIS systems (UKG, etc.)Working knowledge of leave laws and compliance basicsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and written communication skillsHigh level of discretion and confidentialityBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredPHR and / or SHRM-CP certification preferredHealth care industry preferredSkills and Abilities :
