Staff Accountant

About the Opportunity

Vaco is recruiting on behalf of a growing company seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants exposure to both corporate accounting and cost accounting while working closely with operational leadership.

This role offers strong growth potential in a company experiencing significant expansion and system modernization.

What You’ll Do

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform general ledger maintenance and account analysis
• Assist with internal controls and audit support
• Collaborate with operational teams and support project-based accounting tasks
• Work directly in SAP for day-to-day accounting activity
• Provide occasional assistance to cost accounting as needed
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
