Laboratory Support Technician

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Anatomic Pathology Lab. (0900-1730)

As a laboratory support technician duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result / interpretation by technical staff and / or pathologists. Performs instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Biology or Chemistry
  • Bachelor of Science in general studies with 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry

  • No certification or licensure required
