We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Responsibilities

• AWS Hardware Engineering is looking for a leader to drive a team to deliver best-in-class hardware designs from inception, through manufacturing, implementation and maturation, and eventually deprecation.
• You will be responsible for ensuring all core hardware components meet or exceed the high quality bar, ensuring a healthy fleet of EC2 servers.
• You will organize and lead a team of skilled hardware development engineers to partner with our silicon suppliers, ODMs, and internal customers to deliver towards our roadmap.
• In this role, you will define implementation strategies and report status frequently to senior leadership.
• Your work will directly enable AWS to launch our next generation server designs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $157,600 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $283,200 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
