Job Description :

Pay Range : $75hr - $80hr

Required Skills :

Strong hands-on experience with Performance testing tools : LoadRunner and JMeter.
Protocols : Web HTTP / HTML, Web services (SOAP and REST), TruClient, Kafka and MQ.
Performance Testing Types : Load Testing, Failover Testing, DR Testing and Endurance Testing.
Monitoring Tools : NewRelic and Client.
Good understanding of web protocols, Core Java and Groovy Scripting for JMeter and C / Java Scripting for LoadRunner.
Basic Knowledge about Cloud Migration Projects.
Basic knowledge on Octane Documentation.

Nice to Have Skills :

Experience with : LRE, Blazemeter, AWS / GCP / Azure Cloud Platforms, AppDynamics / Dynatrace.

Agile methodology and working CI / CD environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and Execute Performance Test Scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter, incorporating various protocols such as Web HTTP / HTML, Web services (SOAP and REST), TruClient, Kafka and MQ.

Collaborate with Engineering Teams to identify root causes performance issues and validate system behaviour under load using Monitoring tools NewRelic and Client.

Participate in Requirement gathering and Architecture review sessions to understand the system design and Performance needs.

Prepare Detailed Test Plans and Conduct walkthrough of Test Plan and Results with Clients / Stakeholders.

Implement Parameterization, Correlation, Error handling and Custom Scripting to ensure realistic Test Scenarios.

Design and Execute Performance Tests based on business requirements, supporting both On-Premise and Cloud environments.

Document all findings, analyse system behaviour and identify bottlenecks or Performance degradation points.

Track defects during Performance Testing Cycles and Coordinate with Development teams for RCA and Resolution.

Create and Deliver Performance test summary Reports with Actional insights, Observations and Recommendations.

Demonstrate flexibility in handling varying loads and working across multiple client environments.

Collaborate Developers, Application Teams, DBA Teams, Infrastructure Teams to ensure smooth test execution and environment readiness.

Take full ownership of the Performance Testing lifecycle – from planning and scripting to test execution and reporting.
