OB / GYN Hospitalist – Collaborative, 24 / 7 Program at Watsonville Community Hospital

Salud Para La Gente (Salud) is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN Physician to join our OB / GYN Hospitalist team serving patients at Watsonville Community Hospital .

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) , Salud is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective health care that meets the needs of the diverse communities we serve. In this role, youll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team operating a 24 / 7 OB Hospitalist Program committed to excellent maternal and womens health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based Obstetric and Gynecologic care for patients at Watsonville Community Hospital.
• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine Physicians in Labor & Delivery.
• Provide timely consultations in the Emergency Department.
• Serve as a preceptor for Family Medicine residents rotating through the department.
• Actively participate in Quality Improvement committees and hospital governance.
• Maintain continuing education and professional development to ensure licensure compliance.
• Keep all required certifications and licenses current (CA Medical License, CPR, Drivers License).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
