Mechanical Engineering Intern

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to help the Building Services Group with design and construction project work.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Performs elementary engineering assignments and works from the designs of othersCompiles data and completes analysisPerforms elementary design computationsPrepares engineering plansAssist preparing reportsContact vendor(s) to obtain equipment informationPerforms quantity take offs to aid in cost estimateWorks under close supervision Receives specific and detailed instructions as to required tasks and results expectedParticipate in field activities and site visits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently pursuing bachelors degree in mechanical engineering field
• Finishing or completed junior year of college
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit, Sketchup)
