Conduct thorough inspections of trade-ins and purchased vehicles, addressing any maintenance or repair needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure that customers receive accurate and transparent information about used cars, pricing, and financing options. Implement processes to gather feedback and reviews, using them to improve customer satisfaction and dealership reputation. Set pricing strategies for used cars based on market conditions, acquisition costs, and desired profit margins. Monitor expenses related to the used car department, such as reconditioning, advertising, and personnel costs, to ensure profitability. Prepare regular financial reports for dealership management, summarizing sales performance and financial metrics. Recruit, train, and onboard new members of the used car sales team. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and knowledge. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and individual growth. Several years of experience in automotive sales, with a focus on used cars. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, including market trends and pricing strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
