The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.

You will work as part of an engineering team of 4 at a 1M square foot Class A office park in Indianapolis. This position requires the Operating Engineer to be on-site. Local market requirements may vary slightly.

Schedule : 8am-5pm Monday through Friday + rotating on-call (1 week on call every 4 weeks)

What your day-to-day will look like :

Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to : painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs / ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance

Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests

Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks

Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)

Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls

Comply with all safety procedures

Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

Other projects and tasks to be assigned

Qualifications :

3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry

Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable

Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance)

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall

Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and / or drive

Strong customer service skills

Location : Onsite- Indianapolis, IN

Schedule : 8am-5pm Monday through Friday + rotating on-call (1 week on call every 4 weeks)

Compensation : $28-33 / hour
