SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The ERP Team Project Analyst (Finance) will work on the limited-term Project Team tasked with implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which will include functionality in accounting, budgeting, payroll, position control, and human resources functions such as recruitment, benefits, and onboarding. The position will take a leading role in change management efforts during the implementation and conversion to a new ERP system by identifying process changes and improvements associated with a new ERP system. Members of the Project Team will identify and lead necessary changes to the District's processes and operations as it relates to human resources, accounting, budgeting, payroll, procurement and other automated functions encompassed in the ERP system. The incumbent must possess strong communication and project management skills in leading organizational changes and user adoption as well as overcoming potential resistance and inertia in implementing changes to longstanding business processes.

EXEMPLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The District has used an outdated ERP system with limited functionality for more than 15 years. Without modern workflow functionality, this has required District staff to perform many calculations manually and adopt manual work-arounds. A new modern ERP system will not only entail much greater automation of processes and a changed appearance and interface for human resource and business processes, but also should spur a review of and changes to the methods of work in all areas of human resource management and finance including changes to the District's chart of accounts, enhanced reporting and data analysis, reduction of data entry, additional automated monitoring and reviews of transactions, more efficient routing of work between functions, and many other changes to the daily steps and work done by District staff both in Central Office functions and at school sites. Other changes could include greater use of artificial intelligence (AI). Thus, the ERP Project Team's work encompasses more than just training on a new ERP system. The Project Team will establish mechanisms for ongoing system enhancements and staying abreast of updates and new features within ERP finance modules and will work with the District's management and staff, ERP consultant and ERP vendor to identify changes to daily processes, troubleshooting and making continuous efforts to resolve issues.

Experience : A minimum of three years of strong information system applications experience with an in-depth knowledge of current business processes, policies, and procedures related to information systems.
Skill at : Change management including the ability to lead small groups and collaborate with all levels of impacted offices including clerical, paraprofessional, professional and management positions; collaborative approaches that involves listening, communicating, and negotiating; continuous efforts to resolve unyielding problems; and implementing change management strategies to ease the transition for end-users.
Knowledge Of :
Proven experience and ability in various programming and development languages with a thorough understanding of database platforms and methodologies; ability to understand vendor-provided databases and be able to complement those databases with additional tables, views, functions, stored procedures, queries, and reports in order to enhance or improve functionality for the district; ability to communicate and interpret vendor or user requirements into functional solutions; serve as a technical resource for other Information Technology projects.
Responsible for overseeing and developing various software solutions that bridge data communications between internal district databases and external database systems; developing the most complex custom reports for various database systems; developing creative restoration solutions while ensuring the integrity of the data to address specific data-related problems and system issues.
Responsible for the development, deployment, and monitoring of database packages and reports; performs physical and or logical data modeling; proficient in reading, writing, and debugging various programming languages; perform database queries and analysis; performs report development; design, code and test reporting services components.
