MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Medical Assistant

Our specialty practice is seeking a Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including :

Preparing patient for exams and / or procedures

Vitals and rooming patients

Administering medications

Maintaining exam rooms

Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms

Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Scanning and faxing

Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry

Medical Record entry

Scheduling / Rescheduling Appointments

Requirements :

Excellent customer service / interpersonal skills

1+ years Back Office experience (preferred, not mandatory)

MA Certificate

Medical terminology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills

Strongly Preferred Qualifications :

Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Pay Scale / Ranges : Starting at $18.00 per hour
