job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork effectively in a hybrid work environment Produce and organize detailed technical drawings and plans Work in a team environment with engineers and other technicians Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to perform field assessments on existing structures and assist with field inspection on construction projects Accurately field measure existing conditions to detail replacement or supplemental components Ensure construction projects are completed in accordance with Construction Contract Documents Maintain project records, log daily construction activities, and document quantities 5 to 10% travel to job sites, mostly within 100 miles, overnight travel is rarely required Associate's degree in Drafting, Civil Technology, or related field 2 years of prior relevant experience Demonstrated knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Willing and able to travel to job sites Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal / civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations Previous experience developing structural plans and detail drawings Previous inspection or field work experience MSHA or MNDOT certifications Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative group Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to be concise and communicate effectively Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external disciplines This position's anticipated base salary range is $51,300-$62,000 annually (This position is eligible for yearend and profit-sharing bonuses, as well as overtime pay for all hours that exceed 40 in a work week). Offer will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
