ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

  • Collaborating with various personnel to develop and scrutinize financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide timely and effective reporting and analysis of performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making.
  • Process and analyze monthly borrowing base to be submitted to the bank.
  • Support banking credit facilities as needed.
  • Provide support around inventory related issues.
  • Support of FAR / DFAR / TINA reporting.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Monthly and Quarterly accounting close activities.
  • Work on adhoc projects and analysis as required.
  • Support for external and internal audit activities as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES   Requires knowledge typically acquired through :

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university.
  • One to three years of experience; and / or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in financial modeling, business analytics, and FP&A a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to effectively present information to various levels of management and various non-Finance personnel.
  • Experience with the Glovia ERP platform preferred.
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Experience with Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Standard Costing practices a plus.
