Kalshi has defined a new category : prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history. Kalshi is currently the fastest financial market in America, and has 1000 markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.

Role Roadmap

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our growing data team. At Figma, Data Scientists are deeply embedded within cross-functional teams across the company—from Product to Finance, Marketing, and Platform.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical skills, business intuition, and a collaborative mindset to guide decision-making and unlock growth opportunities. You’ll work on problems ranging from understanding user behavior to optimizing revenue strategies, improving internal tooling, and influencing product direction through experimentation and data modeling.

This is a full-time role that can be held from our NYC office.

Technology :

Our tech stack includes Python, SQL, DBT for data analytics and pipelining, pipelining and machine learning and visualization through Superset, Dagster, Hex. We leverage cloud platforms such as AWS for scalable data storage and computational needs.

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure :

Salary Range : $100,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits.

This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles.
