Hevy Equipment Mechanic / Mechanics Helper

Our company is looking to hire a Shop Mechanic / Field Mechanic / Mechanic helper to work on a variety of heavy equipment, Ten wheeler dump trucks, heavy duty autos, misc. small engines and other misc. equipment. We are willing to provided training for the right person, ideally a person with a "Go Getter" mentality who is eager to learn.

You do not need your own tools to start but it would be a bonus.

This position is guaranteed 40 hours a week Monday-Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Job Duties :

• Routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment, dump trucks, trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
• Implement and maintain good recordkeeping
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
• Work closely with other team members to ensure timely maintenance and repairs
• Stay up to date on the latest technologies and repair techniques
• Must be able to do shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a Class C driver's license
