Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community, is looking for a  Maintenance Assistant   to join our team in Johnston, IA ! No prior senior care experience necessary !  Come and join our supportive, energetic and passionate team, where your skills will help make an impact on our community.

As a Maintenance Assistant  at Meadowview of Johnston,  you will be on-the-move to identify maintenance issues and work hands on to correct them. You will also perform routine maintenance repairs at the campus. You will have the opportunity to bond with our residents and make a difference in their lives. Our ideal candidate is a resourceful leader with excellent problem solving, customer service and time management skills.

Position Type :   Full-Time working a varied schedule including weekends

Location :   5555 Pioneer Parkway, Johnston, IA 50131

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities :

• Additional duties may include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.
• Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
• Follow scheduled maintenance program.
• Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
• Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
• Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
• Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
• Painting walls, paint retouches, and other related tasks .
• Perform other duties as requested.
