Project Administrator

Looking for an innovative organization and the opportunity to learn and grow professionally? We can help! We are seeking a Project Administrator in support of Terrestris Global Solutions ground operations in Los Alamitos, CA.

This is a temporary 1099 role.

The Project Administrator provides administrative and operational support, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, and documentation standards. This role acts as a key liaison between project management, contract officers, and internal departments to maintain efficient operations and communication.

What does a typical day look like for the Project Administrator?

You will :

  • Assist in the coordination and administration of day-to-day project activities.
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines in accordance with contract terms.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including reports, schedules, correspondence, and regulatory filings.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, invoices, and financial tracking reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies, and contract requirements.
  • Interface with government representatives, subcontractors, and vendors as required.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and potential issues to project managers.
  • Assist with contract modifications, task orders, and closeout documentation.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we're looking for if you have :

  • Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of administrative or project support experience, preferably on government contracts.
  • Familiarity with FAR / DFARS (Federal Acquisition Regulations) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • We are extra impressed by folks with :

  • Prior military experience in Administration or similar occupational field.
