Program Overview
The Doan Foundation’s
Roots & Resilience Artist Grant Program
is an initiative dedicated to supporting artists, photographers, and creatives whose work explores cultural heritage, community strength, and resilience. The program will provide six artists or arts & culture organizations from Southern California with
$1,000 each
to bring impactful projects to life. These projects should address social issues, mental health, uplift underrepresented voices, and inspire healing and connection within communities. By investing in these creatives, the foundation aims to preserve powerful stories, strengthen cultural understanding, and drive positive change. The program reflects a commitment to empowering artists as changemakers and using their craft to inspire and unite us all, building a brighter future through the transformative power of art.
Eligibility & Key Details
Open to artists, photographers, and creatives from Southern California.
Projects must explore themes of cultural heritage, community strength, and resilience.
Projects should address social issues, mental health, and uplift underrepresented voices.
Funding : $1,000 each for up to six recipients.
