Civil Engineer

Job Title : Civil Engineer Location : Denver, Colorado Type : 12 month Contract Compensation : $65.00 - $68.00 hourly Contractor Work Model : Hybrid System One is currently seeking a Civil Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Denver, CO. Civil Engineer Responsibilities : Supports the development and execution of hydroelectric projects across Colorado Responsible for providing civil expertise throughout the project lifecycle, with a focus on evaluating design drawings and managing submittals and requests for information (RFI) across multiple active sites (projects located near Georgetown, Glenwood Springs and Durango) Contribute to multiple concurrent efforts, ensuring consistency and quality in technical deliverables Work closely with project manager, internal teams and external consultants to support design coordination, construction planning and field execution Civil Engineer Requirements : Ability to travel as needed to provide hands-on support during key phases of construction 3+ years of civil engineering experience with 1-2 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design) Bachelors degree in Engineering Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical skills3+ years of civil engineering experience with 1-2 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design). Resource should have a bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited school or strong / commensurate experience. Resource should have very strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical undefined skills to resolve answering questions, troubleshooting design conflicts, etc. Organization is key in this role as they will be interfacing with several different teams, tracking and documenting. Resource should have knowledge of / familiarity with NCRs, RFIs, and the ability to understand and manage the scope of a contract.
