Sourcing Specialist Level 3

Hybrid; At least 2 days in the office for now.

Description : Job Summary :

This position is responsible for the cost-efficient procurement of goods and services across the enterprise.

The position is responsible for the RFP development, negotiation, selection and execution of contracts and SOW s that cover a wide variety of commodities and services procured by Client.

Responsibilities :

Proactively engages with Business Partners / clients to develop and coordinate Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information

Works with internal clients to ensure compliance that procurement processes and policies are integrated in to business practice of securing goods and services for the company, including assisting with accurate completion of internal requisite Intake-Form and compliance with procurement policies

Performs competitive assessment of marketplace (when required), benchmarking both quality of goods / services, price, and any potential contracting risks; obtains proposals / quotes, conducts level-up cost analysis, assess market risk, and works with business partners to select best qualified supplier

Negotiates contract terms and collaboratively partners with internal clients to drive and ensure proper SOW development; including overall clarity of SOW scope, identifying payment schedules that are aligned to clearly defined milestone and / or clearly defined deliverables

Assists the Category Sourcing Manager with other duties and special projects

Maintains quarterly savings reports

Maintains contact with suppliers through meetings and supplier site visits Generates queries and reports from the appropriate procurement system for internal customers as requested.

Pursuit of project cost savings that contribute to the organization s overall objectives

Education / Experience :

Bachelor's degree

7 + years experience in IT Sourcing including SaaS, Cloud, Platform sourcing experience .

Experience procuring IT Security software is a plus

Experience negotiating Statement of work, order forms including Service level agreements, deliverables, payment terms etc.

Additional licensing, certifications, registrations a plus; e.g.

Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)

IT experience with SOWs is required Skill

Knowledge :

Requires familiarity with strategic / proactive competitive procurement procedures and processes

Requires working knowledge of Workday , WorkDay Strategic Sourcing Module
