Position Overview

A family practice clinic in Forest Park, Georgia, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their healthcare team. The NP will provide high-quality primary care to patients of all ages, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including patient histories, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, managing patient care plans in alignment with evidence-based guidelines.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as necessary.
• Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, screenings, immunizations, and health education.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and continuous care.
• Counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes to support long-term wellness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Act as a resource for patients, families, and staff, providing education and addressing questions or concerns.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.

Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making abilities.
